Glow Worm

Glow Worm (Retail $19.99) is an adorable casual game, put out by Tri Synergy. It is a matching puzzle game, with over 100 original puzzle screens, where you must make connecting clusters of colored glow worms to clear the screen and progress to the next level. A simple concept really, place the red worms together, the blue worms together, and so on. However, it is harder than it sounds to coordinate all of the cute, wide eyed bugs. Some of them change color when you match them, and turn into fireflies, which in turn effects the matching up of the other bugs around them. You must unlock cages to free trapped bugs, by making matches around the cages. Free all of the bugs and beat each level to win the game. You can gage how many more glow worms you need to clear by watching the glow worm at the bottom of the screen along his path. When he reaches the end, you win the level. You can play in Classic, Adventure, or Puzzle modes, which allows you to choose whether you want to track your progress along a map, by how many bugs you rescue, or by selecting different puzzle shapes and levels to play. The worms are so very cute and colorful, the fireflies pretty and cheerful. All of this is set to the very relaxing and lovely music of an orchestral soundtrack. Cute, fun, and addictive. What more could you want from a casual puzzle game?
